Jessica joined our practice when she moved to Boise in 2006, however she’s been helping patients with her kind and sincere smile for much longer than that! Her first job was working at a dental office, helping out the front office. Her experience and intellect has steered her career toward managing our team. She’s the cornerstone of our office and the heart of our team. Her thorough, and caring judgement create a unique management style. We wouldn’t be able to excel the way we do without her!
Mandi has been in the dental field for over 13 years, and joined our practice in 2004. She is an extremely hard worker and has done everything from assisting Dr. Higer in the office to comforting a patient during their first visit to the dentist. Mandi has focused her experience towards heading our billing department. You will most likely have the pleasure of meeting Mandi if you are scheduling your child for treatment at the hospital or have a billing and/or insurance question.
Rosie began her career in dentistry in 2002. Her experience as both a dental assistant and front office administrator gives her a unique edge in working with patients to get the most from their insurance benefits, coordinating treatment and financial arrangements. She joined Dentistry for Children in 2007 and has enjoyed working in the pediatric field with Drs. Higer and Davis and her entire work family.
Our office had a wonderful addition in 2007 when Shanda joined the team. Her smile and friendly personality immediately help patients and parents feel welcome and comfortable. Shanda goes above and beyond to ensure every patient is taken care of and feels like they are her priority. We are so lucky to have her!
Jamie was in the dental field for over 10 years before joining our team in 2010. As a dental hygienist in pediatric dentistry children may either see Jamie at their dental treatment visit or for a routine dental cleaning. Either way, after children see Jamie they leave feel cheerful and spoiled! Jamie is a natural with kids and they respond to her kind and comforting manner. We can always rely on Jamie for a bright smile and a positive attitude to start the day!
Stephanie started working for Dr. Higer in 2007. She was a natural, and loved the field so much she went back to school in 2011 to become a dental hygienist. Stephanie goes above and beyond to make sure that every patient is made to feel welcome, safe, and important. Despite the great deal of daily responsibility’s she has at the office she is always looking for anyway to help out. She’s our busy bee!
Amber became a wonderful addition to our office when she joined our team in 2013. She has an incredibly kind and steady demeanor that puts those in her care right at ease. Amber is a vital part of our entire back office, consistently offering assistance whenever needed. Her knowledge and dependability are a tremendous asset to our team. In all activities, Amber’s creativity brings joy to our office!
Breanna joined our practice in 2010. She has a sweet and reassuring way with all her patients. She truly excels at helping children feel at ease and comfortable in an environment that may be new and unfamiliar to them. Breanna always brings a positive and cheerful attitude to all that she does. She can make the dullest activity seem exciting and fun.
Lila joined our team in 2008. She has brightened the day of all her patients ever since! Patients feel calm and comforted by her kind smile and sweet personality. When patients are in Lila’s care her tender nature helps patients feel welcome and safe. If ever Lila has a patient that arrives nervous or anxious about their visit they leave feeling calm under her care.
Angela has been a friendly and familiar face in our office over the course of her career. We’ve had the pleasure of having her be a reliable and fun asset to our team off and on since 2002. We where thrilled when she decided to join us permanently in May 2016! She loves pediatric dentistry because of the constant variety and excitement patients have when coming to their visits! Angela approaches each patient as if they where her own child, accommodating to their specific needs and strengths. When it comes to the parent’s experience, Angela’s goal is to give them the utmost satisfaction she would hope to have for her own family.
